Yesterday's trip to the dentist by lite rail did not fail to entertain/astonish/shock and awe.
As usual I was able to get a few "pretty" photos.
Built in 1911, the Mills
Station Building formerly served as a commercial center, meeting place,
post office, library, firehouse and even a gasoline station in the
community of Mills (now Rancho Cordova). Tom Raley bought it in 1956 and
in 1972 the building was moved north from its original location and
renovated to house a series of restaurants.
This building is in the parking lot of the Mather/Mills Lite Rail station. It has an Historic Building Designation; so it can't be moved, removed, torn down, etc. On the other hand, no one wants to put a business at that lite rail station, so it sits...empty.

Back home and getting my mail. This gardenia was just below the mailbox.
