Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky. Tagore

Walking to doctor's office today
Capturing Details
This house always makes me smile
It has so many fancy parts

Vintage sign, high in the air in front of the
Alfa Romeo garage between K & L on 18th Street

Early 1950's Hudson Hornet
My family had one of these ..... way back when

Walking by ex-husband's condo
built on the former site of Sacramento High School

And directly across the street....

I call this the old train station.
Most people know it nowadays as the
Old Spaghetti Factory
When DJ and I took the train from Rock Springs, Wyoming to Sacramento in 1969 and got off at this station,
I could never have imagined it as ever being a restaurant

When Rick's opened in 1986, it seemed questionable thatt a dessert diner
would ever make it
especially since this area was just a hair away from being a slum
Now the location is  HOT, HOT, HOT

In the window of a vintage clothing store

St. Francis Church

 Backside of Sutter's Fort with
Pioneer Congregational Church
in background

I just liked the color and scene on the side of this truck
making a delivery to El Centro at 28th and J

Taylor's Art Supplies

I have the equipment
Should I take the lessons?

I'm not a fan of graffiti
however, this does cheer up the side
of this dull grey building

Wednesday Appointment then Time to Kill

Appointment at UC Davis Medical Center
Here is a flower or variety of flower I don't recall every seeing before today.

A long flower bed of these

Symbol on Shriner's Children Hospital at UCDMC
I didn't realize a dagger was part of the Shriner's symbol

I like this acknowledgement of nurses

Waiting for the return bus
This coke truck was driver less, parked  in the turn lane
on Stockton Blvd.

Sign made possible by tobacco companies
Without tobacco companies
the sign wouldn't be necessary
Go figure!
