Coming Home from Texas

Left Texas a day earlier than planned to beat the weather
Good thing, I see that 500 flights were cancelled in Denver alone today and
55 mile an hour winds in El Paso
North Texas was due big storm today

We started the day very early
Had breakfast at the Down Home Cafe in Canton
before heading for Love Field in Dallas

Catching up on headlines

On to Dallas

Leaving Love Field for El Paso

 West Texas

Landing in El Paso

Time at airport to take photos

  Carpet in airport

Ft. Bliss is nearby so great attention is paid to military personnel
coming through the airport
An announcement repeats frequently asking if you see someone in uniform
to please thank them for their service.

Fort Bliss is home to the 1st Armored Division

The birds were all  painted by school children

I had enough time  to set in lounge and watch planes take off

Mexico in on the other side of the mountains

Leaving LA for Sacramento

Very bumpy ride on to Sacramento

Great trip
Good to be home
