Walk to Rose Garden and Lunch

Walked downtown to meet friend for lunch at Hock Farm

But first, a stop by the rose garden

I think their GPS is messed up

This is the absolute best time of year for the rose garden

 Roses will still be blooming in November, but this first bloom of the year is magnificent

and the scents are intoxicating.

It's difficult to get a good overview of the gardens 

but I wanted to try to capture the scope; variety of colors and types of roses

A Bed and Breakfast where Mom and I stayed after

she mentioned staying in a B&B was on her "bucket" list

Though I don't think that term was in the vernacular in 1997
