This house always makes me smile

It has so many fancy parts

Vintage sign, high in the air in front of the 

Alfa Romeo garage between K & L on 18th Street

Early 1950's Hudson Hornet

My family had one of these ..... way back when

Walking by ex-husband's condo

 built on the former site of Sacramento High School

And directly across the street....

 

 I call this the old train station.  

Most people know it nowadays as the
Old Spaghetti Factory

When DJ and I took the train from Rock Springs, Wyoming to Sacramento in 1969 and got off at this station,

I could never have imagined it as ever being a restaurant

When Rick's opened in 1986, it seemed questionable thatt a dessert diner

would ever make it

especially since this area was just a hair away from being a slum

Now the location is  HOT, HOT, HOT

In the window of a vintage clothing store

I just liked the color and scene on the side of this truck

making a delivery to El Centro at 28th and J

Taylor's Art Supplies

I have the equipment

Should I take the lessons?

 I'm not a fan of graffiti

however, this does cheer up the side

of this dull grey building
